Culebra Island Getaway Upon departing the Marina, our guests enjoy stunning views of the “El Yunque” mountains and the Fajardo coastline. After a comfortable passage, of less than an hour, (depending on sea conditions!), we anchor off Culebra beach for about 1 1/2 hours for snorkeling (Usually at the Luis Peña Nature Preserve). Later, our Captain will take you to the sleepy town of Dewey, where you’ll board a Taxi-van to one of the most spectacular beaches in the Caribbean, Flamenco Beach (a five minute ride) Hammocks in the trees, and often-local musicians make this a very relaxing and enjoyable afternoon. Here you’ll enjoy a sumptuous Beach BBQ. The white sands of world famous Flamenco Beach are great for beach combing, and the waters are a beautiful turquoise blue. Sodas, water, juices, Piña Coladas, our famous Tropical Rum Punch are included along with chips and peanuts and cookies. Beer and mixed drinks are also available. We provide quality snorkeling gear and underwater cameras are available on board for sale.
