Musical Groups

Rondalla Alegro
From the town of Humacao, a Children String Orchestra dressed in native costumes. They play typical Puerto Rican music. They also play the U.S. and Puerto Rican national anthems, if required, as part of the opening ceremony. The "Rondalla" offers an authentic, enchanting first impression of Puerto Rico.

Juan Carlos' Rumba Flamenca
Juan Carlos is one of Spain's foremost flamenco guitarists and a truly virtuoso performer. Surrounded by four (4) gorgeous dancing senoritas, he continually punctuates his show with sophisticated wit and charm. He takes his audience on a musical journey around the world and they respond with standing ovations and "Oles".

Borinplena
A group of six typical revelers dressed in traditional Panama hats and white shirts. They enter the area playing wind instruments followed by minor percussion and two vejigante dancers dressed in bright, voluminous costumes and wearing wild horned masks. This lively group will definitely get their juices flowing.

Kwadrafunk
Their sound is funky and beautiful. With influences from Africa and Brazil to Puerto Rico, Kwadrafunk is a young and energetic Brazilian-style percussion and dance troupe who fire up the samba beat and perform rhythmic dancing. Using traditional instruments, with a touch of guitar, Kwadrafunk Batucada rage on stage creating endless dance rhythms, complex tribal and urban pulse beats, and a continuous celebration of movement.

Son Del Batey
Folkloric group consisting of musicians, singers and dancers specializing in "La Bomba" a distinctive style that introduces the dancer to the conga drum. You set the pace! You set the rhythm!!!

Club Copacabana
The Copacabana Club is synonymous with the glitter and sophisticated elegance of yesteryear. We recreate that elegance with an incomparable twelve piece big band dressed in white dinner jackets, a charming bilingual singing M.C., a female singer and exciting choreography. Starting with mambo and swing of the 40's and 50's, the show transports you in time through to rock/disco and today's hot salsa. The show can be produced supper style or as a single after dinner show.

Grand Calypso
You're in the islands and it's time for the contagious beat of the limbo. Arito, king of the Puerto Rico limbo, brings a colorful show with authentic music as he skillfully performs an amazing limbo... Then Arito and his dancers call everybody up to try their hand in an informal limbo contest.
