EL Yunque Rainforest Excursion

Named after the good Indian spirit, Yuquiyu, and shelter to the Carib Indians for 200 years, El Yunque is the only tropical rainforest in the U.S. National Forest System. Spanning 28,000 acres and reaching an elevation of 3,624 feet, the area receives over 100 billion gallons of rainfall each year. In El Yunque you will see many unique sights and hear many unique sounds unsurpassed by any of the natural wonders.


Breathtaking views of feathery ferns, thick ropelike vines, white tuberoses, ginger, miniature orchids and some 240 different species of trees are in abundance throughout the area. Home to the Puerto Rico parrot, El Yunque is also a bird sanctuary and you can hear the wondrous strains of these birds harmonizing with the tiny, inch-long coquis prevalent to Puerto Rico. Splashing falls and cool shaded pools complement the total enhancement of the forest. For groups who like to include a relaxing stroll along with their ride, we will provide knowledgeable step-aboard guides and staff, who will take your party on a scenic 30 to 45 minute walk along one of may trails, while pointing out the splendor of the surroundings for photo opportunities or just pure enjoyment. . Please wear tennis shoes or hiking boots. We also recommend you wear a bathing suit if you wish to swim, and don't forget to bring along a towel and an extra T-shirt.

After a scenic drive to the start-off point and a brief orientation by one of our experienced step-aboard guides, you will commence on an exhilarating two hour hike through the wilderness of the rain forest. The actual hike will be held on marked U.S. Forest Service trails. All our guides are experienced hikers, who are familiar with the trails and areas. Please wear tennis shoes or hiking boots. We also recommend you wear a bathing suit if you wish to swim, and don't forget to bring along a towel and an extra T-shirt.

Old City Historical Walking Tour
We've designed this tour for culture and history enthusiasts who like to get up close to the sites and examine the past first-hand. Knowledgeable step-aboard guides will take your party to Old San Juan-the oldest city in the U.S. There, they'll be able to stroll through Old Spanish cathedrals and forts such as San Cristobal, where they'll see and learn how the Spanish built and defended their city.


Afterwards, they'll have an opportunity to do some shopping and have lunch on their own. A popular option is to have our staff pre-arrange lunch at one of Old San Juan's fine restaurants. We highly recommend comfortable walking shoes, hat and sunscreen.

Bacardi Rum Distillery and City Tour

We will take your groups to the world's largest distillery, where they will ride in open-air trams through the beautifully-maintained grounds to stop at the Bacardi Museum and bottling plant. Following the tour, which will be provided by multi-lingual guides, your group will be treated to complimentary rum drinks at the open-air pavilion. We will continue on an excursion through San Juan to show your group some of the city's most popular sights such as, historic forts, cathedrals, and a beautiful view of the harbor. Our step-aboard guides accompany this tour.

Bacardi Rum Distillery with Shopping

We will take your group to the world's largest distillery, where they will ride in open-air trams through the beautifully-maintained grounds to stop at the Bacardi Museum and bottling plant. Camuy Cave Excursion
For those who love natural wonders and rock formations, the Camuy Caves are a must-see. We'll take your party on a scenic ride past pineapple fields and over rolling green farmland to Rio Camuy Park-the site of the largest subterranean cave system in the Western Hemisphere, as well as the world's third largest underground river. After touring the caves, your group will return to the recreation area,


For refreshments before heading back to the original point of departure. Our step-aboard guides accompany this excursion. We can also arrange for lunch at a Typical, local restaurant to add to this marvelous day.

Ponce City Excursion

Puerto Rico's second largest city, is located on the southern coast and easily accessible by highway. We provide enjoyable all-day group excursions to Ponce, with our knowledgeable step-aboard guides, which include a visit to the Ponce Art Museum, housing a fine collection of paintings, sculptures and prints that cover five centuries of Western Art, as well as other historical sites. Lunch can be arranged at one of the many quaint restaurants in the area.

Cabezas de San Juan/ Nature Reserve Excursion

Acquired by the island's Conservation Trust, its coral reefs, beaches, lagoons, mangroves and dry forest distinguish the peninsula. Your group can explore the peninsula along a network of trails and boardwalks, study exhibits at a nature center, and enjoy the view from the lighthouse observation deck. A Typical luncheon in one of the area's local restaurants is a popular addition to this excursion. Duration Approx. 2 1/2 to 6 hours, depending on point of departure.

Horseback Riding Hacienda Carabali
Enjoy a memorable horseback ride in a unique natural environment, one that you could not duplicate any place on earth. Ride gentle, but spirited "Paso Fino" horses, along the foothills of the world famous "El Yunque Rain Forest." Upon arrival you will receive brief instruction on how to ride and will then be given a horse according to your riding experience. We recommend you wear long pants, tennis shoes, or boots.

If you must wear shorts, please bring a beach towel.

Surf & Turf Biking adventure

This is the best nature lover's tour, start this excursion at the largest Mangrove forest left in Puerto Rico and bike your way to one of the most beautiful and isolated beaches in the city. Guests will bike for two hours along the northeast border of Puerto Rico in Piñones on the all new "Paseo de Piñones", a 7 3/4 mile bicycle and jogging boardwalk. Midway during their trail guests will stop for snorkeling or play in the sun.

Guests actual biking is 3.5 miles. Fully escorted by CPR certified guides it also includes refreshments, snorkeling equipment, bicycles and round trip transfer from the hotel.

El Comandante Racetrack Excursion
Racing fans in your party can watch their favorite picks round the bend from the comfort of the racetrack's air-conditioned clubhouse, which seats up to 1,000 guests. Group functions, transfers, and lunches can be arranged for Wednesday, Fridays, and Sundays during race time.

Countryside Excursion

Your party will get to know our beautiful "Isla" firsthand on this relaxing panoramic excursion to the countryside. We'll taken them away from the fast pace of San Juan into the easy going central regions where they'll visit quaint towns and villages such as Caguas, Gurabo and San Lorenzo, then savor a typical "criollo-style" lunch. We begin the tour with a visit to the University of Puerto Rico and the home of the island's first elected governor. After that, it's on to the mountains and valleys for everyone to see for themselves what captivated Spanish explorers hundreds of years ago. Lunch included.
